Sherri Balentine Tipton

Sherri is a San Angelo native, having graduated from Lake View High School and Angelo State University. She is a 1986 graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law. Sherri’s primary area of practices are residential, commercial and farm and ranch real estate, commercial and consumer lending, title examination, entity formation and banking law.

Graduated Angelo State University (BA in Government, magna cum laude, 1983); graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law, 1986. Admitted to Texas bar 1986, and admitted to practice before US District Court, Northern District of Texas, 1989. Board certified in Residential Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, 2006.

Professional Affiliations

Past officer, Tom Green County Bar Association and Tom Green County Young Lawyers Association; Texas Bar Foundation Fellow, College of the State Bar of Texas; District 15A Grievance Committee Chairman 2007-2008; represented children from the YFZ ranch.

Board Member, San Angelo Chamber of Commerce, Junior League, San Angelo Convention and Visitors Board, Rio Concho Board of Trustees, San Angelo Day Nursery, Finance Committee, Sierra Vista United Methodist Church, and YoungLives Committee Chair and volunteer.

Personal

Married with four adult children and one grandchild. Enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering with “YoungLives”, a ministry to teen moms, traveling, and residential and commercial staging and decorating. Owner of Stroman Title and Co-Owner of Blue Door Staging and Redesign.
